Funky Town @ Damai

Before the CNY, me-paulin and jiunn yi went for a quick dinner.
We know there's a place where if you have no idea where to eat then just go there which is DAMAI.

Know this place that we always wanted to try. FUNKYTOWN

I ordered the fish & chips since that's the normal quality measurement i put for a western food restaurant.
If they can't produce a simple fish and chips then they failed as a western corner.
The fish & chips surprised me.
It was crispy outside and soft inside plus it doesnt have the mud taste.
They have TARTAR sauce!!!
That's like added bonus point. Finally a western corner with a sense of proper dish.

The environment was not bad with a small corner of guitar and keyboard available for play.
I think you can request to play if you're good.

The service was fast and plain water wasnt charged in the bill. Great!

The lamb chop was delicious with the standard mint sauce. Paulin thinks "upperstar" give a bigger portion
but i prefer this as the meat was tender and juicier.

My fish & chips was forever so lovely. The chips was fried into perfection meaning no oily after bite feel.
The coleslaws was just nice with the mayo.

Didnt took the photo of jiunn yi food. Forgotten why..
But it was good as well.

After dinner we went for another round of Grill fish.

Forever loving this ..
as this is the best grill fish available in the area.
It was the soft and tasty type. Even the sambals tasted delicious.
Love it.
