International Law Public Speaking

Palapes & Suksis were invited to attend to one public speaking session organized by International relationship student.

It was a bad event.

why?

1. The participants were not informed on the theme for the day hence no preparations on what they should talk about.

2. Last minute preparation on venue

3. Director of the program wasn't around to be seen until the event ready to invite VIP.

4. Food preparations was last minute where everyone was rushing

5. I was pissed off when the emcee clearly said the wrong thing. Instead of PALAPES she said Persatuan SUKSIS and when i corrected her yet she said just forget about it.

This i cannot accept. Even though she's an ad-hoc emcee.

In the end of the event, every speaker get a hamper.

The performances that they get from UMS was not bad.

But not all are appropriate.

I just don't think a public speaking on International Law should be relax and whatever style.

Not the way it should.

Still.. even it was a bad event, i still need to thanks some AJK for willing to hear me complaint to them. I would like to send my personal thanks to Alya for working very hard in saving the event, the technical dude, for willing to listen and explain to me. Azimah, the protocol girl that trying her best to take care of the participant and also the food arrangement team for preparing the food though it was a last minute.
