Chicken Katsudon RM8.80
Me and Malini went to 1utama yesterday afternoon. We reached there at around 2.45pm due to my audition (singing competition). We walked pass jusco for some shop checking then decided to go Sushi Zanmai for our lunch since Mei sern highly recommended on the food. We felt a bit hot when we 1st go into the sushi corner. They gave us the side seat and not the sushi bar (i think you need to tell the waiter if you want to sit at the sushi bar).

Tenzaru Chasoba RM10.80
After a long discussion, we both decided to share. We ordered the chicken katsudon which was the Katsu chicken rice and also the Tenzaru Chasoba which was acold green tea noodles. Then we had their mini california miki too which it had avocado inside.

Mini california miki RM4.80
The Katsu chicken was nothing to woo-aaa about. As for my cold chasoba, I think i prefer the cold soba in another shop which was opposite of the kluang station in 1utama. They have the best cold soba I have ever tasted, only the soba is nice. But overall it was ok. The tempura was good, not soggy and soft.

Next we had our rolls, it comes in 6. It was good. Good recommendation from Mal. The avocado was just nice not too much inside. I love the fish roe outside.. Hehe...

Chocolate banana parfait RM12

Last but not least, we had our dessert !!! We ordered Chocolate banana parfait. (now i know how to pronounce parfait, french don't pronounce the last alphabet so it's ''parfai'' ) We waited quite long for our parfait then a girl came and told us to wait (if she did not appear, i would thought that they already forgotten about us. ) . Then we waited until we can't wait anymore and ask another waiter to cancel our order but just then, the parfait was there already. So be it, we had our wonderful parfait.
This dessert was really satisfying. I love the banana mix with ice-cream. The roasted nuts with the ice-cream was a perfect match. With the cornflakes crunching in my mouth and then chocolate syrup. It was a wonder why I did not melt there and stick to the chair. Lol...

Anyway in the end we split the bill to RM22/person. I think for japanese food, this price is quite ok because it was really filling.

This is a nice place to hang out with your a lunch. Nice atmosphere, nice people and clean too.
