Tong poh Pork RM18
We had our dinner here some time ago but i just got the chance to post it up.. Was too busy to it the other day.
Mum decided to treat my uncle after he finished fetting up the new IKEA bed frame for my brother!! Thanks for my uncle that my mum save quite a lot... (yes, my uncle knw how 2 set up bed frame, and next time u can hire him to set it up for u!! hehe~)
Well, we decided to bring him to this yoon hoor restaurant where it was located in sg. buloh new village. Next to it was a small fish and prawn lake or something like that. People can go there for fishing. This place was originally recommended by Tricia .
With the buns
We ordered something different this time with the waitress recommendation of 'TONG POH Pork' . This dish was good over here but the buns aren't my top choice. I still prefer the buns made by King Crab. Over there was soft in the inside and crispy on the outside (sound nice huh?). The meat of the pork was nice and full of flavor of course but too bad that it was not exactly hot when they served us. I think they did not served it to us straight after they cooked it.
Foh put (Monk's bowl) RM15
Then we had our favorite 'Foh Put'. The yam was nice and crispy. However i think the ingredient inside wasn't as wonderful as the one i had in Venicia.
But it was okay for that day because we were hungry like a wolf. hehe~
Kam heong crab RM 19.80
Then my mum spotted a sign writing there crab for RM19.80 and well she ordered it since it was that cheap (anyway we had to cancelled off the 'sang har' that we supposed to order).
The crab wasn't big.. so eventually there wasn't much meat. Mum felt that the Kam heong they were cooking that day wasn't as nice as the kam heong in SS2 that we tried before. So she wasn't satisfy. Anyway we had our fair share and were sucking thru the last sauce on the crab.. hehe..
We actually had a fried veggie too but was too lazy to capture it. Furthermore, it was just an ordinary fried veggie so leave it...
On house dessert
In the end, the restaurant always gave out free dessert and the dessert for the day was 'lo hon guo' i think so la.. Anyway it was super sweet.. Don't like too sweet. Hence, my brother don't want to eat.
