Kudat One day trip with ROTU-14

It was Mid-Sem break.
Supposedly i go Kunak for a wedding ceremony but the flight ticket was too expensive.
My fellow squads wanted to go on a trip.
Suggested somewhere that is near to us.

I rented 3 cars and off we go to KUDAT- Tip of Borneo.

 It was a raining.
WE move at 6.30am instead of 6am.
Stopped by Kota Belud for breakfast.
The food there was expensive.
I guess Richard(ROTU and local) didn't know which place is cheaper.

Then me and Winna shared our Nasi Lemak & Soto Ayam.
It was both delicious.

After breakfast, we speed thru to Kudat.
1st stop, Bee Farm.
Everyone need to pay RM3 for entrance.

Do you know that one whole small box of Bee house only produce 1 litre of honey.
And it takes about 3mths.

Plus, the male bee sting doesn't contain any poison. Only female bee sting is poisonous.

Remember your honey that is always thick and dark in color?
For fresh honey, it won't be thick. Why is it thick? Because they already steam it to make it thick and hence there is a expired date for honey.
If you keep it straight from the honey house then it will be "cair" and can keep for a very long time.

Then why is it dark in color?
1st, it's fresh.
2nd, it's not the wild honey. Wild honey = dark honey.

 Enough of bee..
Next, Gong Factory.
The world's biggest gong replica is in KUDAT, SABAH.
The world 2nd largest is in China.
Amazing huh???
Now, why our tourism malaysia didn't promote this??!!

Fact 101 : The bigger the gong meaning the louder the sound of gong.

Last stop was Kudat-Tip of Borneo-Simpang mengayau

It was awesomely pretty.
Had fun taking photos and doing crazy running and climbing.

I enjoyed this whole trip though it was tiring.
Im glad that i follow this trip.
Love Them always!!
ROTU-14 is like my family.
My brothers and sisters.
