1st meal in Manila
We were super hungry.
Can't wait to eat.
But all we see was Korean restaurant outside of where we stayed.
Quezon was the place.
After asking around, only we found out that the place that we stayed was a gated community of Koreans.
Managed to find this not-too-expensive-Philippine-cuisine-restaurant.
Bam-Bam
A small and newly open restaurant.
The price-range of the food were not too bad.
They even have BBQ
Pork Version !! :)
Though Im not like obsessed of Pork but still being able to see Pork almost everywhere still make me go WOW!
Leche Flan aka Caramel.
Don't really like this because it is super sweet.
Banana chips.
Ended up getting one because we were too hungry to wait for our food.
Let's just eat this before we go into our main menu.
:)
Bam Bam
Bam Bam open from 10am to late.
The banana chips were very crispy but almost the same as Malaysia's.
This is Halo-Halo
The ice-kacang of Philippine
It was super sweet.
Not my thing. hence Janice took it over and finish it.
The pork rice aka Porksilog
I don't like the rice because it was too dry.
The pork didn't tasted wow too.
We ordered this as well.
Towat Baboy
Mix pork bits and tauhu
Too salty for my liking.
Had this BBQ pork
It was by far the most awesome one!!
Deliciously smoked and caramelized with honey.
Simply awesome!
A must TRY!!
The front of the shop.
Just a simple, small shop.
Do have a try.
I think by far, the cheapest around that area.
Next will be the weird stuffs I see during first night and our hostel - Green Mango!
