Lunch @ D'KL

Had a lunch date with Epong & Kai. 

Decided to go D'KL since i have been thinking about the ayam penyet since forever.

The best in town i suppose

They have the crispy outside and tender meat. 

So chun that you can finish the whole leg yourself. 

 Then we ordered their white tom yum. 

I love it. 

Was sour enough. 

And if you want more spicy, can ask them to put more chilli. 

Though their tom yum cant beat Thailand or rather northern malaysia but better than everywhere else in Sabah. 

 Sambal belacan long beans. 

Wasnt something to wow about. 

It was over-cooked. 

Disappointed. 

 As usual, their rice come with chips. 

We also ordered their terung + eggs dish

This dish supposedly phillipine with pork but over here they reinvent it i guess

you exclude the pork and there it is. 

Too oily for my liking. 

Maybe terung need to cut slightly for us to tear it. 

3 of us had a very good conversation that day. 

Or rather 2 of us which is Epong and me. 

:D 

Would wanna go out dinner/ lunch with Epong and Kai again some other time.
